Joonatan Ehlvest

Joonatan is a full-stack software engineer with a strong foundation in computer science and hands-on experience building secure, scalable digital platforms.

Since joining My Medical Gateway, he has led the development of its patient- and provider-facing healthcare applications. His work spans system architecture, software development, database design, cloud infrastructure, security, testing and deployment. Working primarily with Python and modern web and cloud technologies, he translates complex healthcare and operational requirements into reliable, user-focused solutions.

Joonatan graduated at the top of his class from the University of Tartu in Estonia in 2025 with a degree in Computer Science. He also completed military service with the Estonian Defence Forces, developing the discipline, resilience and leadership skills that continue to shape his professional approach. A long-standing karate practitioner, he became Estonian U18 and U21 champion before winning the senior national championship in his weight category in 2021.

Combining academic excellence, hands-on engineering expertise and structured leadership, Joonatan oversees MMG’s complete development lifecycle, ensuring its technology remains secure, maintainable and ready to scale.
