MMG accredited hospitals
Every MMG Accredited Healthcare Provider has successfully completed our vetting and accreditation process and contractually committed to deliver the MMG Treatment Package and associated service standards.
These commitments extend beyond clinical excellence and include enhanced standards for patient communication, treatment coordination, treatment scheduling, post-operative care and recovery support.
When you choose an MMG accredited hospital, you gain access to a healthcare provider that has committed to delivering a treatment experience designed around certainty, transparency, continuity of care and faster access to treatment.
Contractual commitments that go beyond standard private healthcare
One of the key differences between MMG and conventional private healthcare is that our accredited hospitals agree to provide a range of enhanced patient commitments that are not normally available when booking treatment directly.
These commitments include priority clinical review of medical records and diagnostic investigations, together with a Treatment Date guarantee under which your chosen MMG Accredited Hospital will provide three treatment date options within six weeks of clinical clearance for treatment.
In addition, MMG Treatment Packages include clinically appropriate post-operative care and recovery support delivered by the treating hospital. This may include rehabilitation, physiotherapy and other recovery services designed to help patients regain mobility, independence and confidence following treatment. Such support is generally excluded from standard treatment prices and charged separately by both UK and overseas private healthcare providers.
Together, these commitments help patients access treatment faster, recover more effectively and benefit from greater certainty throughout their treatment journey.

Treatment date guarantee
Three treatment date options within six weeks of clinical clearance
All MMG-accredited hospitals are contractually required to offer patients three available treatment dates within six weeks of receiving full diagnostic information.
This ensures a clear and reliable pathway from enquiry to treatment, without the prolonged and uncertain waiting times often experienced elsewhere.
Timelines are agreed directly with the provider, giving patients certainty, choice and the ability to plan their care with confidence.

Hospitals contractually committed to MMG service standards
At My Medical Gateway, all hospitals on our platform meet strict EU regulatory and clinical standards. For UK patients, we work exclusively with providers based in the European Union and apply a rigorous onboarding process before approval.
Every hospital must demonstrate full licensing, EU compliance, insurer accreditation and strong clinical performance. We do not accept providers with unresolved sanctions, regulatory concerns or gaps in insurance cover.
Accreditation is free but never automatic. Only hospitals that meet all criteria and agree to MMG’s Terms and Conditions are approved, ensuring a consistent and reliable standard of care across the platform.

Private surgery at affordable prices
Lower-cost private healthcare without compromising on quality
My Medical Gateway gives UK patients access to consultant-led private treatment at MMG Accredited Hospitals across the European Union, often at prices that are 30–50% lower than equivalent private treatment in the UK.
A principal reason for these savings lies in the way healthcare is funded across much of Europe. Many European countries operate mixed healthcare systems, where employer-funded, state-funded and private health insurance all make extensive use of private hospitals. This enables private providers to treat far greater numbers of patients, creating substantial economies of scale across staffing, specialist equipment, operating theatres and hospital infrastructure.
In the UK, by contrast, the NHS accounts for approximately 87% of all healthcare expenditure, leaving the private hospital sector to serve a relatively small proportion of the market. This limits its ability to achieve the same economies of scale and contributes to the significantly higher prices often charged for private treatment.

Flexible payments & protection
Secure payments, finance options and access to medical travel insurance
My Medical Gateway offers flexible payment options, including financing through Klarna, integrated via our secure payments partner Adyen. Klarna may provide structured payment plans for Treatment Packages, typically between £5,000 and £10,000, subject to eligibility.
These can include fixed-term monthly repayments over 6 to 36 months, with clear terms and transparent pricing. Options are presented at checkout, allowing patients to manage costs without full upfront payment.
All transactions are processed through Adyen, a licensed EU bank regulated by the Dutch Central Bank, using secure, compliant payment infrastructure. Payment details are handled securely and are not stored on MMG systems.
