Dr. Egle Bartuseviciene

Professor DR. Egle Bartuseviciene, PhD, is one of Lithuania’s leading specialists in urogynaecology and advanced gynaecological surgery, with more than 20 years of clinical, academic and international experience in women’s health. Based at Nordesthetics in Kaunas, she is recognised for her expertise in pelvic floor reconstruction, urinary incontinence treatment and aesthetic gynaecology procedures, combining advanced surgical skill with a patient-centred approach focused on restoring quality of life and confidence. Professor Bartuseviciene graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and later completed a PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has built a distinguished academic career alongside her surgical practice and was appointed Professor at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences following years of teaching, research and clinical leadership. She remains actively involved in medical education and specialist training within the field of women’s health. A highly experienced surgeon, Professor Bartuseviciene performs more than 200 procedures annually and specialises in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence and complex pelvic floor disorders. Her expertise also extends to reconstructive vaginal surgery and both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic gynaecology treatments. Professor Bartuseviciene has undertaken advanced specialist training across Europe and internationally, including in France, Austria, Norway, Switzerland and South Africa. This international exposure has enabled her to adopt the latest evidence-based surgical techniques and modern approaches in urogynecology and women’s pelvic health. In addition to her clinical work, she has made a substantial contribution to medical research and education. She is the co-author of 10 medical textbooks and has published more than 100 scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
