Dra. Eugenia Vázquez Rey

Dr. María Eugenia Vázquez Rey is a renowned cardiologist with over 15 years of professional experience in the city of A Coruña. A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra, she completed her residency training at the Juan Canalejo Hospital. Throughout her career, she has specialized in the advanced use of clinical imaging techniques, focusing her practice on pathologies such as heart failure, cardiovascular risk, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and arrhythmias. In the institutional setting, she is the Head of the Cardiology Department at HM Modelo Hospital and, since 2016, has served as coordinator of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at HM Matogrande Hospital. Currently, she divides her clinical practice between two centers in A Coruña. She sees patients at the specialized clinic Cardiomodelo Coruña and also offers private medical care at the HM Modelo Hospital Medical Center.
